A glass dining pavilion on UNC’s Rams Head Plaza that added 200 seats and a new destination for students on South Campus.
A UNC dining hall needed 150 to 200 more seats. A 3,950-square-foot glass pavilion adds a new food venue and flexible seating, with doors that open to the plaza or close it off for events.
Set on top of a parking garage, the pavilion rests on just two existing columns, with steel beams cantilevering 36 feet beyond them.
