A new home for the oldest public day school for the deaf and hard of hearing in the United States, set in a renovated 1930s Georgian Revival building.
The renovation brought the three-story building up to accessibility codes and deaf design guidelines, adding ramps, reworked stairs and an elevator core fitted into the original masonry.
Inside, four color-coded stair cores with bold graphics give clear landmarks along long corridors, while monitors act as a visual public address system.
