A kitchen renovation in a 1979 home in a suburban neighborhood of Cary, North Carolina.
The original kitchen was closed off and dated. The work reorganizes it around how the home is used today, with a small bump-out to enlarge the pantry.
The result is a brighter, more open room with warm wood cabinetry and a clear range wall, connected to the living spaces around it.
